It will be a sunny and mild afternoon across the region today, with afternoon highs mostly in the 60s. A change in the weather pattern arrives tomorrow afternoon, as showers move back into the region. The heaviest precipitation is expected to fall over the Western and Southwestern Mountains. If rainfall exceeds 0.25 inches in the Bozeman area, flooding could develop on the East Gallatin River. There is even the potential for snow to mix in with the rain, even at the lower elevation. Thus, those who planned to do some early outdoor planting this year should take some extra precautions, as overnight lows are likely to near or a bit below freezing this weekend.
