It will remain dry tonight with overnight lows around 68 degrees. We will see increasing clouds and a light east wind. Saturday will be warm and muggy but the day could begin and end with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Showers and thunderstorms will likely develop over parts of Kansas and Missouri late tonight and track southeast into the Tennessee Valley just after sunrise Saturday morning. By the late morning and early afternoon hours I’m expecting a break but more thunderstorms could develop by sunset. Sunday looks drier than Saturday but I still can’t rule out a few isolated afternoon storms with highs in the upper 80s. More heat for the up and coming work week with isolated afternoon storms and highs in the lower 90s.
