It would be a mistake to believe that the political class is a force unto itself. While government - (we have a one party system in effect, the LibLabs) - is the agent of corporate capital it can never represent or allow the participation of the majority. If we are to push back we need to start calling a spade a spade and point the finger at the economic system that clearly believes that we can no longer afford a democracy where the majority can have any kind of determination over the future. I do not mean the vote either. The imperative is the building of a social movement that is concerned about the daily travails of the class that works for wages - us, the wage slaves. As crazy as the announcements of the Coalition are, they are at least brutal in their honesty - we dont give a rats about you the workers. The rhinoceros on the mantlepiece is they slash,burn, and vilify those of us who are least able to defend ourselves while hiding their true objective the defense of the welfare state for the very rich. TAX THE RICH and TAX FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS.
