It would be interesting if someone did research on how Idle No More and Indigenous womens leadership is connected to the violence against women. Most of the rudeness and other acts of just down right nastiness came from men. There were some women too, but a majority I would say were men; from my experience anyway. I have to keep reminding myself to keep focused on the bigger picture and not on human flaws, actions and issues of people. Remember everyone, be aware of those who create gossip, lies and misinformation. Surround yourself with positive people who are in prayer, ceremony and have demonstrated consistent kindness to everyone. If someone starts talking crap ...run the other way :)
