It would be such a different world if we would ALL just quit pretending that we dont hurt. It would be even better if we would stop hurting each other with our words. When you say something mean about or to someone, check yourself as to why you said that. Look to yourself first before you release death with your tongue. It truly reflects whats in your heart. Are you harboring unforgiveness or offense? Are you defending yourself? Maybe theres some pride you are dealing with? Frustration because things are not going the way you planned? Whatever it may be God will hold us accountable for EVERY idle word. We may not notice, but He does. Lets try to be mindful as we enter this year of what we say and why. Try to remember that we are all in this life together and that we are not each others enemy. WE ALL HAVE THE SAME ENEMY! But I tell you that every careless word that people speak, they shall give an accounting for it in the day of judgment. 37 For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” Matthew 12:36-37 But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sins deceitfulness.
