Its Christmas in November! No, I did not get a date with a super hot spanish woman. Not yet anyways. Whats taking her so long to appear out of my dreams and into reality Ill never understand...but I still have hope :). You have to have hope in this world, despite all the negativity and occasional disappointment. You never know what tomorrow will bring. This is still a great world full of great people, we just have to realize it. Anyways, my guitar is back and better than ever! I must say, I was expecting nothing less than a huge pain in the ass from Fender when it came to warranty work. The guy told me expect a 3 month delay, and I got it back in just over 1 month! Plus, its actually fixed properly with a whole new expensive piece on it that was damaged. Sometimes you win. So now I gotta practice! Im gonna start working on Stairway to Heaven tonight, see how that goes. Playing that song should definitely score me one hot mamacita! :). I need to eventually find someone (or 2...) to play music with. I can show her some lessons and in no time well be playing in the streets magically for all to see. I need someone who can sing as well, cause I sure cant. But then again, people always said Bob Dylan couldnt sing so maybe I can make it work like he did :). He sure wrote some amazing songs. How...well never know. He was just a very creative writer. Im sure he got the hot women because of it! I know he was with Joan Baez for awhile, so something worked for him. Anyways, one of my favorite stories of all time is of Robert Johnson and how he allegedly sold his soul to the devil...in order to gain incredible guitar playing skills. My only question is why would the devil teach someone how to play music that inspires people and makes them happy? Maybe it wasnt the devil at all, but something else? Or maybe we just dont understand the whole God/Devil thing completely yet. Maybe they work together at rare times to help the good people of the world? Who knows. Im rambling again, Im off to practice.
