Its Christmas morning. I am at work. Unlike some who may be forced to work on this day, though, you can see the results of my labor each time the lights on the Christmas tree twinkle. My work is to generate electricity. There arent many of us here today. A skeleton crew makes for a nice, quiet day at work, which is rather pleasant. Before we got started on our duties, though, about 16 of us gathered together for a time of fellowship and worship. We shared a message about Christs birth and then partook of the Lord’s Supper. And yes, Judd Greer and John Darsey, we actually sang a hymn after taking communion. So this has been a much better day than normal, for a work day. We often forget that the Lords house is not that brick building on the corner with the steeple - its wherever the Lords people are gathered together. So for once, I could say as I came to work; I was glad when they said to me, let us go into the house of the Lord. Merry Christmas, all.
