Its Take Your Dog to Work Day (week)! Lisa Chavez was a Sr. Securities Assistant at StanCorp Investment Advisers when she used to take her Havanese, Ebony, with her to work. She says, My desk was in the lobby so she would either sit in my office chair with me or lay on one of the chairs in the waiting room. She was our guard dog, letting us know if someone walked by the window or was about to come in the door. She loved my co-worker, Cheryl, and would often stay in her office during the day. The mail man would often be subject to our four-footed alarm system. She was not a fan of the mail man!
