Its Thursday Night and its time for some Impulse action from Anime Championship Wrestling! Its an all new episode of Impulse and it is the final episode of Impulse before one of the biggest mega events Anime Championship Wrestling will hold takes place at Cowboys Stadium as a lot is at stake. After weeks of declining the challenge and being mentally (and physically) insulted by his son Gohan, the Impulse champion, Impulse General Manager Goku finally accepted Gohans challenge to a match at No Boundaries where if Goku wins, he gets to choose Gohans next title opponent anytime, anywhere but if Gohan wins, Goku must leave ACW forever. The stakes couldnt be any higher and on Impulse 40, the stipulations will be made official as Gohan and Goku will be apart of a contract signing. What will go down between the two as we head closer to No Boundaries? Also, Ryu has made his return by saving Trunks from an ambush by Vegeta and Broly and at No Boundaries Ryu will take on the Legendary Saiyan, Broly. Ryu said that he didnt want to be held down from his injuries at Apocalypse while he stood there and saw Trunks and Goku suffer at the hands of the Saiyan Regime. Did Ryus return set back the Regime? Plus, in our main event, it is a HUGE six-man tag as the team of Sagat, Choji Akimichi, and Kankuro will face the team of Dark Magician, Gaara, and the Television champion Mugen. Last week, Gaara made his point known that he will become the new Television champion at No Boundaries by giving the Sand Claw to both Sagat and Mugen before their match could even be held. How will the dynamic of the six man tag go between all six men? Finally, the Cruiserweight Champion Joe Higashi will be in non-title action as he takes on Tyson Granger, the Beybladers partner of Kai Hiwatari who Joe Higashi meets at No Boundaries when he defends the Cruiserweight title.
