Its Tuesday, Clinton!!!!! I had to dig up an older photo. Not much out there to take a photo of this morning! Anything that was flowering is drooping now! :( Going on in Clinton: Lakeview Railroad Crossing Repair Tuesday Kansas City Southern Railroad will be repairing the crossing at Lakeview Drive on Tuesday, March 4, 2014. They will start around 9:00 AM. and should be completed by 2 PM. The crossing will not be closed but it will be down to one lane traffic. Clinton Public Works will be assisting to ensure that Lakeview Drive does not close to thru traffic completely. Please drive careful and look for the flagmen. Please avoid if possible. Free Trees As part of the City of Clintons Storm Water Management Program we are offering free trees for planting to help with erosion control, therefore ultimately helping to increase the quality of storm water runoff. You can pick up your free tree beginning on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 between the hours of 8 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The pickup location is the Community Development office at 200 West Leake Street in Clinton. Pinehaven Construction Notice Weather permitting, Hemphill Construction will be installing a cross drain across Arrow Drive at the intersection of Arrow and Pinehaven on Saturday, March 8. This project will take all day to complete. Lanes will be open for traffic but some delays can be expected during this work. Citywide clean up City wide clean- up will be March 29th through April 5th from 7 am until 5 pm each day except Sunday. Dumpsters will be located at 529 Springridge Rd just past the Public Works Department. Tires, hazardous waste, paint and shingles will not be accepted.
