Its WORKOUT WEDNESDAY!! Let me know if youre sweating with me today! Heres a little upper body progression move that you can use to strengthen your core and your upper body! (Get all of my workout videos: thebettyrocker/category/my-workouts/ ) ⚠️CAUTION⚠️ dont do todays moves on the edge of your drop off balcony unless you have ninja skills...LOL. MOVE 1: Plank. Hold a strong plank, shoulders stacked over your wrists, gaze neutral. Lower back engaged, not arching. A slight curve is ok, but you want to activate your core. MOVE 2: top video: keep holding plank and begin to alternate lifting your legs. Maintain that strong plank alignment. MOVE 3: Come back to plank and do push ups. Warm up your arms. MOVE 4: bottom video: push ups with alternating legs. A couple things that Im doing in this video I want you to notice- 1 my hands are super close together because my railing is narrow. Widen your hands so you can go a little farther down and have more stability. Second, my back is arching because Im getting tired after filming push-ups for 10 minutes lol and the sun is hitting it making it look more arched. Keep your back as straight as you can. This is a super tough move, and Im still getting stronger practicing it. Try alternating between these 4 moves. A great place to start is do each one for 15 seconds. Increase to 20 or 30 seconds as you can with good form!
