Its WWI movies every Friday night this month. Random Harvest from 1942 is tonights tribute to the 100th anniversary of WWI. I believe WWI was one of the most horrific wars, if any war can be more horrific than any other. Tonights movie focuses on what we now call PTSD. The history of PTSD or shell shock is quite interesting. At one point veterans in the early 19th century U.S. veterans were actually paid disability quite easily for shell shock because it was confused with a traumatic brain injury...a physical disability.
