Its Walk to School Day this Wednesday, October 1, and wed love for you to participate! Livsey Walk to School Day encourages community camaraderie, neighborhood connection, care for the environment, and the practice of pedestrian safety. Of course, it is also a whole lot of fun to walk to school on a beautiful fall morning! Walk together as a family, or meet with your neighbors and walk together. Light refreshments will be provided at the school’s entrance, along with surprise items for children who participate. We will be holding a contest this year to see which homeroom has the most walkers and earns the “Golden Shoe! (behold the Golden Shoe below!)
