Its Wednesday, and that means the neighborhood dish. Every Wednesday, Ill be posting about something going on in our community. This could be a charitable event, something fun I recently did, a new restaurant, really anything going on in Bangor and surrounding areas that I think is worth mentioning. This weeks neighborhood dish? 11 Central A group of 6 of some of my closest friends (minus a few!) went here last night, and it just so happens to by one of my favorite restaurants in Bangor. I had a delicious NY strip steak with portobello mushrooms, garlic potatoes and roasted butternut squash. It was absolutely amazing, as it always is. One of my favorite parts of going out with these girls is everyone orders something different, and we all take turns trying everyones food, so we get to try 6 different meals! Its awesome! In addition to their food, their drink selection is phenomenal. We all had lots of wine, which paired great with our food, and a couple of my friends chose drinks, which also didnt disappoint. Each meal automatically comes with a caesar salad with the most delicious homemade dressing, and a cheese blend thats creamy, buttery, salty, and everything youve ever wanted. If you get a chance, go check out this local gem. As the name suggests, its located on Central Street in downtown Bangor, next to Bagel Central and Giacomos. Cheers!
