Its a Malaysian myth that science students have the best and wide job opportunities including medics (doctors are 4th in earning)! Even the top 10 richest billion RM persons either never studied deep science at university or didnt have MA, MSc or PhD pong. It think we should only train the 5% to be top doctors, engineers, architects, lawyers, ICT designers, teachers and professors. The rest 90% to study business, management, administration, communication, art, humanities and social science; look at the figures here! The National Education Strategy should address that issue and some politicians must stop blaming the IPTAs for not teaching enough science in schools and universities.
