Its a Year ago today since my Dads passing(Wallace). As I saw him take his last Breath at 5.05am, and then had to wake up his girlfriend sleeping on the floor at the hospital by his side the sad news. My younger Brother Victor was also present at the time. It was a great turnout at his funeral. I would like to share this poem that I read at the Church Service. My Dad Wallace as Strong as an Ox As his Body is now sleeping in this Antique Box The Respect and Honour that this man had Wow be tide if you crossed his path He passed away on Jan 24th On his own Mums Birthday as he heard her call. Son its Time for you to go Take your last breath now and lets rock and roll The memories I have of you my Dad Are so Funny and make me laugh Like the time 2 guys were stealing your car But the one two hook jab did send them a far. The Time we played cricket with my new bat And you licked the ball so far and shouted Send it back I heard that you were the cock of the town The first man in Manchester to pick up 512lbs Even the man of your size had such a soft spot Who dearly loved his children which wont be forgot The smile and charm and twitch of your Cheek Had All the Ladies falling at your feet The way you walked with your Shirt buttoned down Would scare any Man from this Town Everyone in here must have a memory about Dad Whether its Evil Good or Bad Now that I have finished my little Chat Please stand up Respect THE GREAT WALLACE!!!with a 30sec Clap LOVE YOU DAD. Greatly Missed as tears are rolling down my eyes as I post this on Facebook xxxx
