Its a bitter sweat day as a Bantam hockey coach! Today is the departure of a wonderful group of young men that many of which I have helped coach for the last ten years! We closed out the last on-ice function of the year today. It was a year of many successes including a Minnesota State Tournament appearance accompanied by a VFW State Appearance! I am proud of each and every player on the team for what they brought to the table, all of which is different from one player to the next. I am most proud of how they are developing as young men. My hope is that each player takes what they have learned the past several years and expand on it. No matter what you choose to do in life, excel at it with passion, conviction and work ethic! A Big thanks to the parents for your willingness to allow your sons to play the great game of Hockey and entrust us coaches with your sons! Your participation, passion and support is next to none! Another big thanks goes out to the coaching staff that I have stood side by side with over the years with this group of boys. Without the countless hours (2nd job), these boys would not have had the experiences they did! Cudos!!! Included is a pic of the team before we headed out for our last game at the VFW State Tourney.
