Its a force fed greed conspiracy !!!! Money for slaughter ....... Look ...... I hypocritically enjoy a big juicy hamburger as much as the next person ..... tasty bacon and sausage morning sandwiches ....... turkey left overs and breaded chicken strips ........ mmmmmmm ..... yes my own carnivorous desires embarrass me ..... but I own my weaknesses regarding food. I dont disguise them or hide them ....... And that is my point ..... I own my weakness. And perhaps my meat weaknesses would be less inclined - if the truths regarding the meat industry and its practices were not hidden behind closed doors. (Not that I want to see slaughter ..... I dont.) Nope ..... Im far to faint hearted for that ..... My point being ..... Most of us are. Our drive to consume meat is prehistoric. I see the meat industry much like I see the oil industry. Outdated for money profiting purposes. Oil industry wants to maintain profits until every single drop of its resource has been used up ..... every penny profited from. Despite the toll it is having on the planet ...... Despite ecological advancements. Advancements that the oil industry will work hard to keep suppressed until every last drop of oil has been profited from. So when is the end of meat production ???? No doubt producers of meat will fight and hold off any progress related to the bio-fabrication of meat for as long as possible (if not indefinitely) to make a dollar. Just as the oil industry propaganda diminishes the need for sustainable energy ..... so too will it fight and suppress over meat and leather bio-fabrication. And just so not as to confuse the two ..... I am not talking about genetically modified organisms (GMO foods) or fruits, vegetables, bees, sealife and earth animals for slaughter modified with growth hormones and insecticides ....... The pros and cons for that are up for another debate ........ No, I am referring to the engineering of meat from cells harvested from unharmed living animals and bio-fabricated from start to finish. Cloning. And I know a bunch of conspiracy people just lost their minds at the mention of cloning. Me too. However, I see a definable line between cloning and bio-fabrication. One that I am sure will be tried and tested before it becomes regulated law. Cloning of animal companions has already legally occurred ..... though with arguable success. The animals in question appearing exactly the same but ..... yet with their personalities different ..... which enters into another topic of the existence of the soul and afterlife ...... which I am hoping will perpetuate the absurdity that cloning of deceased animal companions and human relatives is a viable possibility and just - will - not - succeed. As in the Stephen King book and movie ....... The Pet Cemetery ..... The person and or animal can come back in skin ..... but not the same. Maybe not evil ...... but not the same. It cannot ..... for beside the arguable existence of the soul or not ....... life circumstances are different. Circumstances which shape ones life. Thus ...... as time and circumstance cannot be xeroxed into a sentient being ...... cloning has its limitations. (And scientific advancement aside ....... for me ...... thankfully so. There are just some Pet Cemetery practices that should not be duplicated.) But I am digressing and thus not going there for the purpose of this opinion post ....... My post is about greed, consumers and the conspiracy of the meat industry. A conspiracy devised to perpetuate meat and dairy fallacies ......... All for the sake of keeping consumers blindly dependent upon meat, and ignorant of the meat industries centuries old meat conspiracy for economic gain ..... despite the contrary information of its non health benefits becoming more and more recognized. Smoke and mirrors ....... The profit to be made from the meat industry began centuries ago ........ and it is advertised towards a vice and need .... taste, hunger and nourishment. And most of it lies. There are more nutritious selections of nutrition than meat and dairy products. Much like the cigarette industry devised tests to keep society only partially informed of its profitable negligence ..... The meat and dairy industry is aware of this negligence too. But it makes a profit. And there it is ........ A profit ......... Even water (another human and animal need) can - and has been turned into a profit making product. Water. Without it ...... you will die. And yet ..... the water industries are making obscene profits from your need. And all these water companies ..... do you know what they are selling ????? Purity. Which sounds good correct ???? I mean its organic and isnt GMO - so it must be good for you correct ????? Nope. It isnt necessarily bad for you .... but it isnt necessarily good for you either. The jury is out on that until time passes to see the side effects on society from of all this water purity. A purity which governments implemented strict regulations upon decades ago - by adding certain socially health benefiting additives to keep society safe from water born and spread purity diseases and bacteria - decades ago. Granted, the additives are bad for you too - but socially weighing the differences - the governmentally regulated, strictly monitored and contained minimum of bad additives - do not outweigh the possible and likely contamination of purity ...... and its possible consequent disease and bacteria infestation. But I have figured out a way around that ....... allow the governmental safety additives which kill the bacteria and disease - and use a filter to eliminate (by filteration) the governmentally regulated additive impurities. Walla !!!!! Delicious pure and bacteria free water without all of the greedy conspiracy about pure water. Sustenance and survival. It makes human beings susceptible to greed conspiracies. So too are we humans susceptible to medical and prescription insurance companies ...... Think on it ...... A profitable pill that makes you better - but also makes you sick in another medical area - requiring another medication to medicate that side effect - which will need another antidote to counter effect that side effect and its side effect and its side effect ..... and so and so on and so on - wash rinse repeat ........ (but dont get me started there ........) As you and your parents - and their parents, and their parents parents were raised on the belief that humans require dairy and meat products to sustain a healthy nourished life ...... so too have you probably passed this contradicted information onto your children ..... and they will likely pass it onto their children ..... and so and so on and so on ....... until hopefully the greedy meat and dairy conspiracy is revealed ..... and even then ...... taste has been ingrained .... and even inbred - and thus will take decades if not centuries of generations to breed out. That is why bio-fabrication of meat, leather and fur is so exciting to me. It is a gateway to the end of the meat and dairy conspiracy. (And hopefully a beginning of medical health and prosthesis advancements too numerous to list.) Which will be compromised by new greedy conspiracies ...... I guess it is just the way of human nature ..... to screw each over for a profit. We humans as a species really need to teach each other how to respectfully and appreciatively treat each other better .......... and consequently ........ treat other species and the earth better .........
