Its a great weekend to be out and about in Richmond. I was at the Bermuda Hundred re-enactment (walked from our church to the park, to the skirmish site...walked, walked, walked...) early this morning. They have worked hard to make this a wonderful glimpse into life during the Civil War from many folks perspectives....soldiers, women, medical personnel, etc. and they each have a story to tell you about their lives and experiences. Dont let their efforts go to waste...its free, its educational and fun, its easy to go to Clover Hill HS and catch the shuttle. I didnt because I figured it was easier to walk. Then if you dont go back on Sunday, come to Forest Hill Park for Sunday in the Park. Ill be there with Stilson photos, books, and more from about 1-4 PM.
