Its a nice sentiment, and I like the overall thought of it; but every time Ive come across the pay-it-forward thing in a drive thru line, I cant help but think, Cool. So someone just paid 4 bucks for that overpriced coffee I didnt really need. Ill bet that 4 bucks would have meant a lot more to someone who was actually hungry or to a charity that contributed something positive to someone who actually needed it.. Of course then I feel obliged to carry on with the trend, and then end up instead paying 8 dollars for my 4 dollar coffee. I guess this is whats going to make the world a better place.
