Its a shame that some people automatically assume that if someone is Muslim or merely looks like they hail from the middle east that theyre in league with terrorists. Even worse that there are people who feel Muslims on the whole are a blight that needs to be terminated. Even worse than that are the people that say these things are the same people who are quick to wear their heart on their sleeve, proclaiming the banner of equality and openly displaying their patriotism as proud citizens of the land of the free. And yet many of these people dont realize that theyre essentially condoning discrimination, racism, genocide and yet they dont realize how much theyre proudly putting their own hypocrisy out on display for all to see. America is free in many respects but the unfortunate thing is that some of its inhabitants are as closed minded as one can get. To proclaim the foundations of this country in one hand and in the other cast them aside because of your own ignorance, willful or otherwise, is a pathetic thing indeed. There are those that truly believe that having people of the Islamic faith in our midst is an invitation of terror within the United States, that these are the people who aim to destroy what America stands for. And yet the people who feel this way are in effect doing the work for them by employing the kind of tactics they claim to be against in order to discriminate against people simply because they look a certain way or follow a certain religion. Makes me wonder who is truly the wolf in sheeps clothing.
