Its a very ironic the world we live in ! The person who got a Nobel Prize for Peace based on just his words and no actions and that too only after 10 days in office is today behaving like a War Monger and even after his allies have been forced to refuse help in the planned military intervention of Syria he is still planning to go solo in declaring war on Syria. And the person who was called a dictator, accused of rigging polls last year to win the Russian presidency by the western media with the help of their stooges in Russia is trying all means to prevent another war. So much so that he is ready to put even the lives of his soldiers in danger. The war monger is a civilian and the one trying to prevent the war is from a military background. This goes a long way in striking down the notion that wars are sparked by overzealous generals just because they enjoy the thrill of killing. And also brings to mind the angry retort by Field Marshall Cariappa to Mohandas Gandhi. When Gandhi accused Cariappa of trying to go to war just because the Army enjoyed killing then Cariappa replied "An armyman is the last person to wish for war as he has seen the horrors of war from close quarters". The nobel prize committe seems to be hell bent on degrading the value of the award and so has chosen many undeserving people recently. The choice of the awardees clearly has the stamp of lobbyists of the western and european countries on it to further their geopolitical interests. If the Nobel prize comittee wants to preserve the prestige of the award even a bit then it must start the procedure of withdrawing the award given to the war mongerer. It will serve two purposes : 1) An undeserving person will be stripped of the honour of the supposed to be greatest award on the planet 2) The US will be rattled and more opposition to their planned strike on Syria will possibly help avert the declaration of war on Syria by USA 3) And if the US strike is averted then that will prevent the power from falling into the hands of sunni-wahhabi jihadis in Syria, and if the power falls to them then be ready for the extermination of the Shias, Christians in Syria who form 20% of the population there
