Its a warm-ish Thursday evening and time for a dram before dinner. Tonight a small taste of one of my happier recent Duty Free purchases, Bruichladdichs Bere Barley 2006. My palates still a little screwy, but its coming back I think. I definitely pick up a strong scent of vanilla and custard some some citrus. My palate is making everything taste a little bitter and like theres too much raw spirit, but this one is pretty smooth a taste of creamy honey with citrus and a long finish with slightly spicey mouthfeel.
