Its about 92 ..... .... excitedly I raced home to listen to NINs Broken EP after hearing the Wish single and having loved the previous Pretty Hate Machine LP. but my first thought was ....... the CD has a manufacturing fault, as it reeked of digital distortion ...... but mr reznor has flummoxed me with his outrageous production (for that time). .... historically, Id read that The Who faced the same reaction from their record company while trying to convince them the distorted guitars on their recording were intentional ... I just didnt see it coming ... rarely these days do i get this creative confusion (or excitement) from listening to music .... maybe Ive just heard to much? ... to all the music and ideas that challenged my opinions .... Thanks :) Happiness In Slavery - Nine Inch Nails (unfortunately this is a live version as the official video is outside of YouTube and Facebooks acceptable parameters - but the uncensored original is available in the comments below for those sick bastards who want the full effect :) ......... still vaguely disturbing even by todays standards, quite outrageous in 92
