Its all been going on onthecoast. There really does not seam to be a gig offseason down here in the south.. Its from goodness to Goodness.. I just come off the back of one massive nite in Westport the Bestport. Trei and Tali with the craziest lineup of local talent. I dont know whats in the water down here but it produces quantities of orsum. I was fortunate enough to Meet The badman himself and the gorgeous Tali before the gig. these people are the gold of the scene, Bloody good buggers, friendly approachable and time to have a chat, Even for a rinsed out old raver like me. A night filled with Bass, Beers , buggers and badness (ina good way).. There were 2 zones to pleaseeven the most picky party head Zone 1 with smooth funk and later sum hause beats keepin the required amount of uplifting happiness to all, even saw sum local pubbies enjoining it, Zone 1 was in the main bar area with all the coast public bar ammenities.. .. Thru to the Zone 2 heavyness, This was positivley crankin with sum of the best pumpin DnB i have witnessed in ages, the locals tore shit up untill Trei and Tali came on and Tore it up some more.. total professional polished performance.. After the headline act , many might have thort its time for a nice wee wind down... No farkin way, It got darker Deeper and what shit was left, got tore up, ripped up, farked up and totally annihilated, Thats how the coast does it . no warning given. .. There was UV paint and plenty of UV lights to have some fun with , and plenty did, The bar came to the party with reasonable drink prices . Hinekens for 6 bucker a bottle. Cheep piss is a win win. the bar makes plenty and the ravers can gett onit at the venue instead in their cars. All in all it was one sweet nite and fu;ly worthwhile taking the night off werk for. Big ups to Brady Rodger Empire Audio NZ, The Empire Club, TREi, Tali , all the support Djs and MCs and most of all all the peeps that attended , partied , danced and behaved. Heres hopping that this a beginning of a ongoing theme of goodness. I feel like there plenty of fun and shenanigans to be had.... Headin into anutha weekend of partyin, ChCh has the biz as usual , there are links to most of the shit thats going on in the shakey city , the Windy city and other random places throughout the south. The place i will be at will be a m8s party at a haunted lodge up in sum old forgotten goldmining town. There will be Drums and there will be Bass and there mite even be scaryness.... Get out there wherever you are and support the goodness that is happening all around , its the support from crazies like us that keep this going and lookin at how much there is proves that you orsum buggers have been gettin out and suppourting. Big ups to ya and keep that shit up. Rember to share and enjoi and ... fcuksake look after each other, Rave brothers , sistas, unkles and aunts..... Its gettin to be that time when NY gigs have been announced , one that hasnt yet come out is HAPPY NY . I know for a fact that this will be on and in the Nelson area. Its run by the same Phatties as the old Phat so you know it will be the goods. just a little heads up so now ya NY is sorted.. no need to thank me ,lock it in and get your rude head there. ...... Oh and one more thing. One of the Best DnB Duos , State of Mind ar playing all old skool outdoorsey up the matai in Nelson on Aug 9. there will be fire , BIG Rage Audio soundsystem that is soo damn big its can only be fired outdoors.. there will be lasers , lights , Coffee and BYO piss (no glass) lotsa happy ravers like the freedom of bare feet dancing.
