Its all eerily familiar. What is driving all this, is that the shadow banking implosion in the US and Europe, combined with the Feds providing them cheap speculative capital through quantitative easing, created an enormous bubble in the shadow banking systems of emerging markets, which is now popping as the money printing is tapering. Corporate bonds, real estate investment trusts, sovereign debt...the usual, anywhere the money could find the yields and just make cash on the spread. Nice to know your central bank created debt to be used for that purpose isnt it? And such a tiny number of people reaping the rewards. bloomberg/news/2014-03-11/singapore-broker-exodus-seen-quickening-southeast-asia.html
