Its almost beyond belief. David Cameron has been lying about the national debt again. In fact, he told the exact same paying down Britains debt lie that he was officially rebuked for last time (making my job very easy indeed, Ive already written the article, and it didnt take much work to update this infographic from 2013). The head of the Office for National Statistics said this: “For David Cameron to have been chastised once on this was bad enough. But to be reprimanded yet again shows this goes beyond error or mistake... We can only conclude that there is a deliberate attempt by David Cameron’s Government to mislead the public about their true failures on the national debt.”
