Its amazing how some dogs you just connect with right away compared to others. Dont get me wrong, I love all dogs but some you do feel closer to than others in my opinion and Ill openly say that lol. Out of all of my fosters, I think the two Ive gotten most attached to are definitely Shadow and Oreo. Luna and Rue are both goofballs. They act more so like their northern breed mixes than shepherds. They will make great pets for people who like those type of personalities of huskies and malamutes. Those two love each other too! Kaos has warmed up to us a lot since he first arrived and he needs a home with someone that isnt super cuddly with their dog but wants a companion. He is a very smart boy. Oreo is such a sweetheart. She is shy at first but once she is comfortable she is a doll. Shes finally figured out how to use the dog door at my house so during the weekends she stays at my home instead of with the other foster dogs. Shadow...There was just something about her when I went to pick up Rue that made me say, Hey, I want to take that one too. I could see the potential in her and she sure did not disappoint me. Today is a good example on how great she really is...We had our Snow Flake Parade practice and there was easily 12 plus dogs there along with more people than that and she was sooo good around them! Not a single bark and she even approached a few while on leash to meet them. She walked wonderfully while we were at practice and she stayed with Gryphon and I without any pulling on the leash. She would have made Emily proud to see that. She is just great in the car too for rides. If she got along with my cat better I would rotate her and Oreo out in my home. Itll be bittersweet when they all get adopted out but they sure deserve amazing homes since they are all amazing dogs.
