Its another dry weekend in Ekiti. The workers have not been paid - TopicsExpress

Its another dry weekend in Ekiti. The workers have not been paid their salaries. Governor Fayemi has paid all his political appointees their salaries, monthly allowances and running grants. A care-taker chairman in Ekiti takes a whooping sum of N400,000 every month. In Abuja, the monthly take home of a minister of the federal republic is N320,000. What kind of change are these APC people practising in Ekiti? A change that seeks to eliminate the workforce through unpaid salaries. A change that does not pay pensioners their entitlements. A change that has sent the children of the poor out of the state higher institutions through their exorbitant school fees. That is the type of change APC has implemented in Ekiti. I congratulate Ekiti people on the choice they collectively made on June 21. On October 16, 2014, there will be a new birth of freedom in Ekiti. Freedom from oppression, intimidation, unpaid pensions, gratuities, salaries and so on. This government of the political appointees by the political appointees for the political appointees will end on October 15. A new government of the people by the people for the people led by your servant, Ayo Fayose, whom you have elected to serve you shall take over. Behold, a new dawn is almost here. Fayose says keep hope alive... Deji Dada Lare Olayinka Vincent Olawale Bamidele
