Its another milestone anniversary day for me today. 5 Years ago today I left Northeast Ohio and all my family and friends for the 3rd and most likely last time in search of Love, adventure, new scenery and gainful employment. Accompanied by my two trusty canine companions Lola J Robinson and Frisco Eugene Morris (RIP) we had quite the adventure, met a lot of memorable people, saw lotsa new sites and had many new experiences, not all of them good of course. In the 1st year alone we lived a hundred yards from the ocean in Rodanthe, NC, then in the New Mexican desert volunteering at a no-kill animal sanctuary and in the woods above a small stream in Illinois. The uncertainty along with lack of healthcare, a stable income, creature comforts (such as potable water) and all numerous low paying and menial jobs far outside of my chosen profession field made it quite a stressful time but also incredibly memorable as well. Im proud to say they I prevailed at achieving all my aforementioned goals and am now content to have traded all the unpredictability in for some peace of mind, stability, a good job, comfort and security. Thanks to all the people who helped make that happen:-)
