Its been 8 years that we have known each other, married for almost 2 now. I always craved to get some surprise on my special days (thats the Leo side of me I guess, I need attention in every possible way ;) ) Neither during our relationship, nor during the first year of our marriage, he managed to surprise me. Poor me or I should say poor him, I failed all his plans. But, this year is special. He made me feel special, real special. And I think, to some extent he got inspired by my recent culinary explorations. Not that he doesnt know how to cook. But, the typical him would not cook unless I am dying. So, it was special. I was not dying; it was my bday instead. My entry to the kitchen was totally banned, and when I was allowed in, I was super duper surprised with a well laid table, exotic indonesian food, some red wine, a dessert (which is missing from the pictures). And, the best thing - the kitchen was spotless. Ohhhhh, I cant tell you I was on cloud nine. So high, that I didnt even realize there was a gift lying on the same table :D. Well, thats one part of bday evening. To make this day, even more special, I had another important person at my home, and guess what. She got me a home baked peach upside down cake. This has been the best bday so far. Hoping for many more like these. Are you listening Abhisek Pandey and Shipra Nirola. I feel blessed to have you in my life. P.S. - Pics may not be that good, but the food and cake were absolutely yummy.
