Its been a busy week. I dont post a lot of what I get because I am working on a few different collections. Ill have the last two books for my Onslaught full story arc either tomorrow or Monday. From prologue to epilogue and every variant including both 22 karat golds and the X-Men #54 Prism cover. The Onslaught story arc was the first story I tried to really follow ranging across multiple titles, in 1996 before we had internet it was almost impossible to follow. I lost track and moved on to other stuff and things. That was 18 years ago. I finally completed it. If anyone wants my full list check the comments below, it was created using several lists online as well as a reading guide and is probably the most comprehensive available totaling 72 books spanning across 22 unique titles. I also picked up Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Vol 1 first prints #2-4 for a great deal which puts me at #2-62 first prints. One a way from a complete series, so close yet so far. lol . Im also working on a Females of Spider-Man collection. I picked up a first blackcat,first full appearance of Mary Jane,First Gwen Stacy and First Gwen as Spider-Gwen. I still want ASM 121 and a first Silk J Scott Campbell cover and right now I am convincing myself that Aunt Mays first appearance isnt in the list because I am a first print sucker and Amazing Fantasy 15 would be a fantasy for a long time haha. Anyone know any other books that might fit into my Females of Spider-Man collection? Please feel free to comment! Ive also been working on first appearances. Picked up a first Apocolypse, Archangel, Jubilee,Warpath and Carnage. First Venom and Black Suit were just scored, pretty psyched about adding those to my collection. Still several firsts I am planning to get, so so many /: ha. Last but not least my Skottie Young Baby Variant collection which I just brought back to current completion. 93 books in total and counting. I have all his covers saved in a folder, Ive passed it out to at least 15 members and if you want a copy too just pm me (: So yeah, thats where I am at, not to mention the assorted 950+ books that I have picked up. This is since August. @.@ I might have a problem. I want to thank everyone here and on the sister site for enabling me, just kidding! Thank you for the information, great posts, education and over all friendly atmosphere. Thank you to the mods and admin who keep the ship sailing. Currently I am reading, for the first time the Collected TMNT Vol 1, Onslaught Story Arc, re reading Old Man Logan and watching Gotham,The Flash and TMNT tv show on nick. Comics and these groups are what I used to cope with the loss of a very important family member and since this is the season of thanks Ill certainly say I am thankful for that in a big way and keep the man who bought me my first comic book when I was three really close in my heart. This weekend I am going to go donate some more comics and some food. For those that celebrate have a Happy Thanksgiving CBC!!! Gobble gobble.
