Its been a couple weeks since I vented about my incapacitated client HHS/CMS/Healthcare.gov folks refuse to enroll in health coverage. The ACA law has been on the books for 4 years, healthcare.gov opened almost 6 months ago, and over a billion dollars has been spent creating a new system to distribute healthcare coverage. Last time I counted over 20 different provisions of ACA were delayed, Im no constitutional lawyer, but I dont understand where the President gets the authority to delay a law. Murder is darn hard to enforce, maybe prosecuting suspects should be delayed until we get the kinks worked out. Many will find the attached video funny, it will infuriate others. I live, eat, breath Obamacare everyday. Access to coverage has improved, some have seen premium savings (because tax payers are supplementing) many more are getting increases, some as high as 100%. The largest increase I delivered went to a nonprofit religious institution. (Forced to provide first dollar coverage for services against their religious beliefs, but a $6,350 deductible separates an asthmatic child from their daily maintenance inhaler) Back to my incapacitated client, over the past 6 weeks I made 28 phone calls to HHS/CMS/healthcare.gov (btw Ive been hung up on 13 times), sent 43 emails to the same folks, and mailed them packages via USPS, FedEx, and UPS. Ive explained countless times the inability of the Exchange to process an application of an individual in dire circumstances. As you watch the video you may laugh or your blood may boil... However you best hope and pray you are never dependent on the bureaucratic nightmare healthcare.gov. ENJOY!
