Its been a good day. Minimal pain today which is rare. Im so thankful for days when I wake up & my leg and foot are not hurting. They seem few and far between these days. Im not complaining, Im so thankful for all the good things that God has done for me. I see many many folks that are much worse off than I am. I have a good wife. (Linda), family & friends! I got good reports at the doctor office today :) my blood pressure was great and I had lost 13 pounds :-) Now, next week I travel to Durham NC to see Dr. Christopher Brown at Duke medical center about my back injury. I have done all thats been requested of me without good results. I know surgery will be discussed this time. Those of you that pray please ask that the right course of action will be taken. In December it will mark five years that Ive been out of work since my injury in Iraq in 2009. I have had three surgeries and may be looking at another one. Ive always been a working man and love to work. My desire is to get well and be able to return to work a few more years before retirement age. I want to thank you all who have chosen to have me as a friend; some will say its just Facebook friend, but a friend still. ) I love you all ... &-))
