Its been a great day in The Lord! We were humbled and blessed to participate in the Commissioning Service this morning for our upcoming trip to Haiti and are thankful to have had family and friends there to support us and lift us up in prayer. It was truly one of the most special moments of my life. Very touching and humbling. Also excited to see the gospel tracts our pastor ordered for us to hand out while there as well. They are in Creole, the language most Haitians speak. The afternoon consisted of our youth preparing salvation bracelet kits for VBS in Haiti and listening to Drucie Brown as she taught them another lesson about the heart of missions. Followed it all up this evening with an hour-long chat with my cousin, Jama. We were very close growing up and it was so good to hear her voice. It has been a day full of blessings and Im so very thankful!
