Its been a long day but an adventure it was! Left the hotel at 730 this morning for our six hour coach ride from Delhi to Jaipur. The highway if you can call it a highway was crazy. They pretty much drive whatever way they like. We were passed and we as well passed colourful transport trucks (all competing for the best looking truck I think), camels, tractors, horse and carriage you name it. The coach ride was certainly an eye opener. On our arrival in the Pink City of Jaipur we visited the City Palace which is still the home to the Maharaja, the observatory and the pink sandstone facade of the famous Palace of Winds. Well its off to bed for another exciting day tomorrow to Amber, Jaipurs SOS Village, the markets by rickshaw followed by a Bollywood Cinema. Namaste!
