Its been a while since the last time we posted some feedback from the Van Pletzen family. Ulrich is doing well and has a very busy schedule. He goes for physiotherapy 3 times a week and emotionally a very difficult time. Hes doing well at school and next week its back to school and the cricket season starting which Ulrich is very excited about as its his favorite sport. Mid October the plastic surgeon, Dr. Pienaar, will do a follow-up after 3 months since the operation. It easier these days for him to brush his teeth and can open his mouth a bit wider since the operation. One of the doctors involved even gave him some droewors and he was very happy about that. Its for mouth/jaw exercise he said. Ulrich still keeps very active and also enjoys his horse riding once in a while at Clara Anna Fontein Game Reserve & Country lodge in Durbanville. https://facebook/claraannafontein. Its also so amazing to see that he still has a love for dogs, even after his horrific experience he had with a dog years ago.We will try and keep you posted more often and post more news on our page.
