Its been awhile and I have been reviewing my management articles - TopicsExpress

Its been awhile and I have been reviewing my management articles that I wrote for my intro class last semester, so I figured I would re-assess some of the things I have proposed in the last 16 months. First, I attempted to take an accounting class, and after 6 weeks, flunked out. I guess for a big picture guy, that is a tough subject, so I will need to hire an accountant to make any of this thinking come to fruition. Second, I am realizing that I am running these express fun bus trips WAY too much as I have reviewed the express bus line section. Sure, it would be nice to have a bus to go express to Cape Cod for a rate cheaper than Peter Pan everyday, but would it be economically feasible given the fact that most consumers would pay the extra $10 and go with the established Peter Pan? If we only get ten riders on a bus, costs would exceed profits. As far as an BDL Express is concerned and the University Express busses (thinking about adding WCSU as well), that is a viable option and we may even come up with a U-Pass to compete with CT-transit. Many students who live in Hartford and Tolland County are stuck taking the CT-transit, and while it does offer an Express Line, Transfers are still required, whereas we will offer DIRECT, NON-STOP SERVICE!!!! As far as Boston and NYC are concerned, I would focus on Non-stop to Logan (was considering South Station, but Peter Pan does that), and for NYC, I would focus on non-stop to LaGaurdia and JFK (instead of the Port-Authority Terminal in mid-town Manhattan - again, Peter Pans and just about everyone elsess destination). That being said, we will do fun trips solely on a Charter Basis until we can possibly get purely alternatively fueled buses. (No not the Silver Line in Boston lol - that runs underground). Wishing you a happy weekend and enjoy the baseball, AND...the foliage.... While you still can heheheh....
