Its been decades since I left home, spread my wings for the first time on my own. Now mind ya, I wasnt the most graceful at it..... probably went about it the wrong way too, but even the wrong way can end up bein the right way! Ya see, I was given a choice.... either go to college or pay rent. It may sound mean but my folks were just tryin to make sure I went on with school since I was so good at it. Only Im the last person to put an ultimatum to. I found another way out. I got married. Now, I dont go recommendin to anyone to get married at 17. Lookin back I know it was the wrong way, but at the time my stubborn streak took over and well..... But it did teach me real quick to learn to fly on my own. Between workin full time, bein a wife, still bein a kid and wantin to play, I had to learn how to fly FAST! And I did it. Nah, the marriage didnt last, but were still good friends. We have a beautiful daughter to show for it. And hey, it just goes to show sometimes, ya have to learn to fly the hard way. Any of yall Kickin Ass fans learn to fly in the storm too?
