Its been five days since we got the call. Our twin nephews were returning from California from a Army training. They were about half way home when they had a terrible auto accident, they were unable to revive Mat at the scene and Josh was airlifted to the trauma center here in Las Vegas where he is still in critical condition. He has improved due to the wonderful doctors, nurses and his entire support system of family, friends, co-workers, and the Army. His parents and sister live out of state and the youngest brother was in Afghanistan, it was up to the family here to stay with Josh through the night praying for his recovery, waiting for his immediate family. He has had 5 surgeries to date with more to come, although improved he is still critical. Ive watched these boys for the past 33 years grow up, graduate from high school, join the military, marry and start families. Mat and Angel share our Anniversary date. I am sad beyond belief, these boys were inseparable since they were born, the day we can tell Josh of his brothers passing will be the worst day of his life, my heart breaks for him and the whole family. R.I.P Mat we will be there for Josh, your family Angel and your boys......we will always love you.
