Its been mainly good news in Ireland but certainly not the case - TopicsExpress

Its been mainly good news in Ireland but certainly not the case for other European countries. In Sweden, the far-right Sweden Democrats won 2 MEP seats (their first ever) and about 10% of the vote. An increase from 3.3% (2009) and 1% (2004). In France, the Front National won 24 MEP seats and 25% of the vote. An increase from 6.3% (2009) and 9.8% (2004). In Greece, Golden Dawn won their first MEP seat with 9-10% of the vote. An increase from 0.5% (2009, European Election) and 6.9% (2012, General Election). For supporters living outside of Ireland in Europe, how did the far-right and far-left do in your area?
