Its been quite a day. My house is a total disaster, but ALL the wallpaper is off. Just a little scraping left to do. Im absolutely AMAZED we accomplished so much in one day. Thank you to Kim Davis and Alvin, Terri Williams and Mike Williams, Sonja Bates, Leslie and Rob Brahm, Yrsa Hansen and Harold Karen Sprague (Harold Sprague). You all worked so hard and I am so very grateful. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! After everyone left and I was cleaning up the kitchen sink was plugged. Why, I do not know because I am VERY careful not to put anything but water down the sinks. Mark Taylor snaked the drain out to the main line in December. I am baffled and not quite sure how to proceed. I did the baking soda/vinegar thing twice tonight, (Followed by boiling water both times) but I can see the water is not thoroughly drained. ????? When this stuff happens I remind God that He is the one who chose to be fully responsible for me. I trust that He has a solution planned that will ultimately bless me. This is NOT my problem. my HUSBAND will take care of it. :) I guess if the whole house is a disaster it as good a time as any to have a plugged drain fixed. My GIFT today is my dear group of friends who all gave up a perfectly good Saturday to come and work hard...very, very hard. I cannot wait till the house is all finished, and we can have our party. Continuing to pray the truck will sell soon so that I can get the painting done. Ive decided today that I will wait a few more days and then look in to Carmax. I the meantime, I will plan to pull it from the consignment lot. If between now and then someone would like to buy the car from me without the lot, I will sell for less than the $18,500 price. It is well worth that price. Its a beautiful truck in excellent condition. However, to sell it I would lower the price and avoid any more delays. Message me if you are interested. One of the best parts of today is that my grandson, William Howell bought his first car and he is thrilled. So am I. It a 1992 Buick with only 25,000 miles on it. Belonged to the gramma of a friend of mine. A job and a car in he same week!! Id be spinning with excitement. Thank you, Lord for your goodness to William!!! Thanks Larissa Nicodemusn for being a conduit of blessing for him. And Patsy Dixon Studdard, Im sorry to have missed your party. I already had this work day scheduled before I found out about it. I hope you had a wonderful celebration.
