Its called 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko. A 2-mile wide comet hurtling through space at more than 80-thousand miles an hour. Tonight... there is a probe, the size of a small refrigerator sitting on its surface. This is not science fiction... its real. The first time a man-made object has landed on a moving comet. Its the work of the European Space Agency. The spacecraft, called, Rosetta released the probe called, Philae, named after the submerged island in Lake Nassar in Egypt. If everything goes well... it will go on a wild ride through space on the back of a comet for the next year... sending back valuable new data on the origins of the solar system.
