Its close to a new year and I gotta vent a bit. There are lots of folks out there making growlers these days, and one of my competitors is showcased in this months Ceramics Monthly. Funny that they almost use the same description, verbatim, that I have on my website. However, they didnt start producing growlers in Portland until after I had made almost 300 growlers for the Widmer Bros. Gasthaus in Portland. I realize this is a big world world and there needs to be different strokes for different folks, but remember - if you want a truly unique, one of kind, not mass produced piece of artwork, make sure the makers stamp says, Carlburg Pottery, Handmade Growlers for Handmade Beers. And for those that like etsy, the handmadegrowlers crafts person that is selling their growlers there is not me....just saying. Thanks!
