Its cold outside. It was cold last winter too. This beautiful guy spent all last winter outside... with no shelter! We didnt know about him then or we would have tried to help. It was in July that we learned about him thanks to a caring neighbor. Last winter he was chained to the north side of the building so he didnt even have sunlight for much of the time! This winter hes inside. Heres a report from his new family: Happy New Year and Greetings from the Rxxxxxxx family. Buddy is doing just great! I cant believe how easily he can be trained. He understands every word you say. He is always close to one of us. On Dec. 5, I had my second knee replaced. Buddy kept watching the door for me to come home. When I came home on Sunday, he went berserk in a happy way. After he determined something was wrong, he stayed clear of my knee. He has been an excellent therapy dog for me. He loves to go outside in the fenced yard, but will only stay a short time and comes back to the door to come into the house. He is now a HOUSE dog. And a very good watch dog. Judy described him as one hair short of perfection. I think we found that hair and the perfect dog. I havent heard Marlene laugh so much in the past 5 months since Buddy came to our home. She was very sad at the passing of Casey in April 2013 and didnt get over it until she met Buddy. Thank you both for bringing Buddy into our home. Marlene and Ben
