Its completely evident that Joe Buck and the other announcers are in love with Bumgarner. Dont get me wrong, the dude can pitch no doubt about it. BUT, they seem to have forgotten about Chris Carpenter STARTING (on only 3 days rest) in game 7 of the 2011 World Series to finish off the Rangers. They are acting like a guy has never pitched on short rest. All I can say is Bob Gibson must be sitting in his recliner listening to these guys laughing hysterically. #cardsfantotheend :-)
