Its fair to say that Im used to the way NASA Rocky Mountain does things. So, when you come to a new region its always interesting to see how they do the same things. Like yesterday, ordering the qualifying order based on your warmup time. With no warmup today we asked what the order for qualifying would be based on. Answer: None. Its a free for all. What?!? Ok, whatever. ;) Got to grid early, lined up 19th. First lap was the biggest cluster ever. All 20 of us, double wide running half speed on a green track. Come on guys, somebody move it. Finally picked up the pace but traffic was still just nuts. Turned a 2:36 on lap 4 and was about to call it when I realized nobody was behind me. Slowed down for 2/3rd of the lap and got in a flyer all by myself. 2:31.750 and pole for GTS3!!!! Was 20th fast overall and should start 14th or so with the split-out of GTS for the race.
