Its funny. Everyone complains about how tv shows like The Voice and Australias got talent are fake, superficial television that ruin peoples lives. Dont get me wrong, I am not a supporter of these shows... At all. But if you think about it, everyone has heard enough stories and has enough information to know what the shows are about. They are TV SHOWS. They arent real. They dont create the show to help out the artists who are a part of the process. They create the show to ENTERTAIN the population. So I dont think they would care what they have to do along the way to the contestants as long as it entertains the viewers. Im sick of people complaining about stuff that they put themselves into. If you go on a show like that and afterwards cant create your own honest path into the music world, thats not the fault of the labels and television people that put you on the show. It takes a lot of hard work and time... A LOT, to become successful. And if youre only playing music to become famous and adored by people with short attention spans who follow the current trends in music. Youre not doing it for the right reason. And Ill tell you something. Nothing lasts forever. So play music because its inside of you and you couldnt dream of doing anything else. Because if you have that mentality, the rest doesnt matter.
