Its getting a little disheartening for me trying to nail down a set of dress blues for the ball next Saturday. I have tried to navigate around the internet with different websites and all I keep getting is pop ups that keep destroying my search. If anyone out there is a little better equipped at navigating web sites please respond and help me nail it down. I have about 300 bucks to play with. I would like to get a set of dress blues with my patches rank etc. in a package deal. Does that make sense to anyone? In other words it would be nice to find a used set of dress blues with corporal for a rank and have hash marks representing 8 years of service. I have my own badges and ribbons that can be pinned on. I just need a package deal where have all the parts and accessories for said uniform. Thanks to anyone who can help. I will be sure draw attention to who ever helps me in this public forum for your contributiont in regards to the respect for the Marine Corps Birthday and respect to the Veterans Day which follows next Monday. My main drive going to the ball is to pay respect to the Marine Corps, enjoy a night with my wife and, to get inside the minds of the modern-day Marines. I want them to know, that us old timers appreciate and respect there every drop of sweat. I want to know what is really going on first hand from the horses mouth in those war-torn countries that theyre fighting in. Most of all, I want to give them a giant verbal hug and words of encouragement. I want to let them know that even old farts like me care enough too make a concerted effort and are willing to spend the money to be amongst a few and the proud!
