Its going to be a whole lot less cool out there knowing that Worn In Red isnt kicking around anymore. It has been an honor and a privilege to play with a band like WIR over the years and were truly sorry to see them go. WIR and tonights show serve as a reminder as to how amazing the DIY community can be and how much can be accomplished with each others help and how many people can be affected simply by playing punk music to each other in some room somewhere. The show tonight at Gallery 5 was packed and amazing, but I couldnt help but be mentally transported back to all the times I saw Worn in Red playing to 10 or so people in that very same room. For them nothing seemed different; they played as they did any other night to any number of people. They played from the heart and served as an inspiration to us all just like always. Thank you, Worn In Red, for being a beacon in the night. RIP.
